At this time, street parking is the most reliable option when visiting Mount Ida Preservation Hall. While it may seem limited at first glance, there are actually over 200 public street parking spots within a 10-minute walk—roughly the same walking distance as parking in the 5th Street Garage and heading to the Troy Waterfront Farmers Market.

However, because these spaces are shared with neighborhood residents, only about 50% are consistently available, especially during evenings and weekends. Please refer to the map below for suggested parking areas within comfortable walking distance.

For larger events, we occasionally partner with George’s Auto and Cookie Factory to make their lots available after business hours, but we do not yet have a standing agreement in place. If a special parking arrangement has been made for a particular event, details will be included in your event confirmation or email.
